Born in Port Chester, New York and raised on Long Island. Alan-Michael’s mother and father immigrated from Trinidad & Tobago, hoping to raise and provide new opportunities for their future children. Throughout his early life Alan-Michael’s parents constantly stressed the importance of education, integrity and perseverance.
Alan-Michael has always been interested in color and perspective. However, the fact that he became a photographer was somewhat of a coincidence. The very moment his mother purchased his first digital camera for his 16th birthday. Alan-Michael knew that he had found something special. This moment marked a new chapter in his life, Including getting accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology in the spring of 2014.
